Learning Resources

Learning resources is defined as anything that can be used to facilitate learning . Association of Educational Communications and Technology ( AECT , 1977) classifies these learning resources into two , namely : resources by design ( designed learning resources ) and resources by utilization ( learning resources utilized )

Designed learning resources learning resources means that deliberately planned for purposes of learning , for example : textbooks , modules , Student Worksheet ( LKS ) . Learning resources are utilized everything that has unfolded around us , and can be used for learning purposes . Example : banks , courts , markets , museums , zoos , environment , everything that is not designed for learning , because it is already available , staying utilized .

Nowadays people distinguish between the media props , but many others use these terms to refer alternately to a tool or similar object . Actually, the difference between these is the function , not on the substance or the object itself.

Something referred to as props when it's just a mere tool , and is called when the media is an integral part of all learning activities , and there is shared responsibility between teachers at a party and the media on the other

Wxample :
In an economy with material differences in learning traditional market with modern market , one day there may be no need to give examples of teachers , learners can be asked to pay attention to the video as a medium of learning . The video can be a video modern state of the market ( supermarkets , hypermarkets , etc. . ) And traditional video market conditions . Teachers only need to assist students in saying that there is any difference in the two videos were shown earlier .

At one point , a tool such as OHP can be said as props when a teacher will demonstrate the differences between different types of projector , OHP , but at other times can serve as a medium of transparency when it is placed that contains the message or information to be conveyed
